    The Wilson Motors Wholesale Site Prototype was a project I was working on for my family's business. They liked the look of it but due to time constraints and my still being in college at the time they ended up going with another website.

    The completed site would've had an easy to use inventory management system for along with a credit application form and calculator.

  • Purdue Photo Management

    This site was a the second project in my CGT 356 - Web Development class. The students in the class were given the hex decimals for the Purdue University web colors and a few iterations of the Purdue University logo along with some photos to populate the system.

    The students were asked to create a site that looked a lot like a Purdue University website and meet other requirements for usability.

  • Wilson Motors 50th Flyer

    This was another project for my family's business. I was asked to make a flyer that could be posted around town and handed out to potential customers. I was asked the day before they needed the flyer to create it.

    I was able to find and use some free vetor images for the cars and free fonts for the the text. I tried to make it eye catching but not too distracting.

ABOUT ME

My name is Matthew Wilson and I am a Front-End Web Developer. I received a Bachelors Degree in Computer Graphics Technology with a Minor in Computer and Information Systems from Purdue University. I am focusing on Website Development and Design. I am the second son in an awesome family from Lawrenceburg, Indiana. From a young age I've been fascinated by what computers can do.

Web Design, UI Design, Mobile Development, and Web Development are among some of my interests. I'm become familiar with but not limited to the following programs: Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash, Microsoft Office Suite, Visual Studio 2010, mySQL, Microsoft SQL, Maya, Mac OS, iOS, Windows 98-7, Linux, and Catia. I have experience with following languages: HTML, PHP, CSS3, XML, Java, JavaScript, ActionScript 3.0, ASP.Net C#, C++, C, SQL, JQuery, and Ajax.

I've done some interesting things in my life and wish to continue doing so. Just to list a few I've been to the Bahamas, Caribbean Islands, Key West, Miami, Orlando Florida, and Puerto Rico. I spent a spring break with two great friends in Istanbul, Turkey. I've attended Hoosier Boys State and the Emily Mauzy Vogel Sophomore Leadership Development Conference.
